Our stay at the Cala di Greco hotel in Bonifacio will be unforgettable. We loved the combination of white buildings, colorful artwork and lush vegetation surrounding them.
We were also delighted by the view of Bonifacio’s majestic citadel, especially from the pool and bar, and also at breakfast.
The rooms are spacious and elegant, with a sleek, modern design. We felt right at home and enjoyed absolute comfort.

2. Hôtel Le Mariosa (Porto-Vecchio)

Why stay at Le Mariosa hotel
Hotel Mariosa in Porto-Vecchio is ideal for those seeking a unique, luxurious experience, with direct access to the beach and magnificent views.
What we particularly liked about this establishment was its complete offer, with a beach, an excellent restaurant, modern rooms and a beautiful swimming pool. What’s more, the views over the bay from the pool terrace are soothing and inspiring.
The only negative is that we’d have liked breakfast to start a little earlier than 8am, as we’re early risers. But that’s not the case for most travelers…

3. Hotel Version Maquis Citadelle (Bonifacio)

Why stay at the Version Maquis Citadelle hotel
For a five-star stay in Bonifacio, we recommend the Hôtel Version Maquis Citadelle. Set in unspoilt countryside, in the heart of the Corsican maquis, the establishment offers a peaceful setting, away from the hustle and bustle.
The rooms, elegantly integrated into the landscape, exude a relaxing atmosphere. We particularly appreciated the balance between modern comfort and architecture in harmony with the surrounding nature. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you’re sure to find it here.
The swimming pool and restaurant complete the offer. From these spaces, the view of the Bonifacio citadel is unobstructed. The restaurant serves fine Italian cuisine.

4. Hotel A Cheda / A Sperenza (Bonifacio)

Why stay at the hotel A Cheda
Our stay at Hotel A Cheda left us with a very good impression. As soon as you arrive, the Mediterranean garden sets the tone: the rooms, which combine traditional elements with contemporary touches, extend this well-cared-for atmosphere.
The outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by dense vegetation, is a well-appointed place to relax. We had a great time there, enjoying the calm and greenery that surrounds it.
The hotel also boasts a restaurant that we consider one of Bonifacio’s finest. The kitchen relies in part on produce from the vegetable garden located between the rooms.
The hotel also offers a shuttle service to Bonifacio, making it easy to get around without having to manage parking in town.

5. Hotel Spa Genovese (Bonifacio)

Why stay at the Spa Genovese Hotel
Situated on the harbor side of the citadel, Hotel Spa Genovese is centrally located, within walking distance of the main attractions in the area. We liked the patio, whose cachet contrasts nicely with the sleek, modern interior design.
The outdoor and indoor pools are a particular highlight of the establishment: the walls surrounding them give them a special character, far removed from the standardized aesthetics of many hotels in this range.
The spa, equipped with a hammam and offering a range of treatments, completes a coherent wellness offering. Here you’ll find everything you need to alternate between relaxing and exploring the citadel, without having to travel far.

The rooms, decorated with care, strike a balance between comfort and elegance. A staircase just below the hotel leads directly to a small beach. If you prefer the sea to the pool, you’ll appreciate this discreet and practical access.

For those who prefer peace and nature, this hotel offers a stay in the heart of the maquis, just 15 minutes from Bonifacio. We really appreciated this setting, conducive to rest and relaxation. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, with open views over the surrounding landscape.
The outdoor pool blends naturally into the green environment. We would gladly have extended our time at the water’s edge, so soothing are the shades of green in the maquis. If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the coast, this is the place to be.

8. Hôtel Les Bergeries de Palombaggia (Porto-Vecchio)

Why stay at the hotel Les Bergeries de Palombaggia
Hotel Les Bergeries de Palombaggia, in Porto-Vecchio, is a well-established address in the region. Located close to the famous Palombaggia beach, it benefits from a well-kept natural setting, between rocks and scrubland. We liked the way the accommodations fit into the landscape, without trying to dominate it.
Rooms are thoughtfully decorated, some overlooking the gardens, others the sea. The renowned swimming pool plays on the visual continuity with the sea horizon. If you’re staying here, take time out at the end of the day to enjoy the light.
The restaurant also deserves attention. The menu highlights local producers and their stories, including that of the baker whose flour is brought in from the mainland by sailboat.

10. Hotel Maranatha (Porto-Vecchio)

Why stay at the Maranatha Hotel
If you’re going away as a family and want a small hotel with great accommodation and plenty of activities, this former sheepfold is an excellent choice.
We really liked its seaside nature cocoon. The impression of entering a secret place.
And of course, we love the pools and the opportunity to go kayaking.
Everything blends into the landscape, giving an intense sense of intimacy.
