Decoration and atmosphere
The interior design is sober and elegant, with a mix of neutral tones and a few colorful touches. The interiors are modern with comfortable furnishings. From the moment we arrived, we felt the relaxing atmosphere.

The outdoor areas are also very comfortable. Ideal for lounging in the sun with a drink. The terrace and pool are integrated into the citadel. There’s even a little tower that adds a lot of charm to the place. We were overwhelmed by the view of the fortifications and the harbour!

In short, the hotel offers a soothing ambience. We felt particularly comfortable and relaxed there. We warmly recommend it for a quiet, rejuvenating stay.

The room
Our room was not very bright, as it overlooked the patio. We didn’t mind, but we wanted to make it clear. If you prefer brightness, we recommend you opt for another room, such as the one overlooking the harbor.

We liked the casual chic decor of the room. The sobriety of the lighting fixtures and the neutral colors of the sheets invited us to relax. The geometrically patterned cushions also added a touch of originality to the room. The key words were minimalism and comfort.

The bathroom
Our bathroom featured a large glass shower, 2 bathrobes and towels. We really appreciated the shower, which extended our time in the spa area. Very comfortable, it was ideal for cleansing after a hammam or sauna session.

What’s more, the body care products available to us were of the highest quality. It was the Nuxe shower gel and shampoo range. We also had access to a small care kit.

OUR TIPS FOR RENTING A CAR IN Corsica
- Compare prices on our preferred platform: DiscoverCars – one of the best rated sites.
- Choose a car that is powerful enough (the roads are steep) but compact (some passages are narrow).
- Think of thecomplete insurance (some roads are tortuous and narrow).
- There is a lot of demand, book it early.

The breakfast
The hotel’s breakfast buffet features local products such as jams, honey, cheeses, cold meats and yoghurts. There are also homemade products such as cookies and Corsican cakes.

We appreciated the choice of products on offer, both sweet (pastries, Corsican cakes, fruit) and savoury (cheeses, charcuterie). We found the breakfast to be relatively classic but of good quality.

The setting was very pleasant. From the table where we were seated, we could look out over the terrace and outdoor pool from a sheltered position.

We liked the selection of Dammann Frères teas on offer. For caffeine lovers, coffee was of course available. We also had a glass of orange juice to wake us up!

The restoration
Restaurant Ô Genovese is located inside the hotel. Here you can enjoy refined Mediterranean cuisine and local specialities at reasonable prices. The view from the gourmet restaurant is delightful. Enjoy a view of the pool and terrace from your table.

The bar is the ideal place to enjoy an outdoor drink. Enjoy cocktails and snacks in charming surroundings.

A little history
Located in Bonifacio’s historic district, the hotel is an integral part of the citadel. The Genoese ramparts framing the outdoor terrace and the small tower add charm to the setting. The rooms were renovated in 2018 in a modern style by Magali Terzian. Refinement, comfort and sobriety seem to be at the heart of his decorative approach.
