Looking for a culinary experience in a contemporary, refined and elegant setting? The Michelin-starred La Table Di Ma restaurant atHôtel A Casa Di Ma will win you over with its panoramic view over the Bay of Calvi. Nestled in the peaceful village of Lumio, its surroundings contributed greatly to our pleasant stay!
This establishment’s innovative and subtle Corsican cuisine is sure to arouse your enthusiasm, as is the quality of the welcome you’ll receive. The chefs of the “Table di Ma” are a passionate couple who have worked together in renowned establishments, including those in Paris (notably Fouquet’s). This culture of excellence is evident not only on our plates, but also in our décor, which exudes chic and elegance.
The restaurant features Mediterranean cuisine, with a focus on noble, local produce. Choose from a 5, 7 or 9-course menu, with wine and food pairing suggestions to enhance your dining experience. Several varieties of bread are served with a surprising citrus butter. The succulent dishes we had the pleasure of tasting alternated expertly between meat and fish, cooked to perfection. To get your taste buds tingling, start with green asparagus with fried mustard seeds, sprinkled with hazelnut shavings and served with smoked sea bream gravlax. Seasoned with wild garlic oil and white asparagus cream.
For the main course, how could you resist the flame-burnt beef tartare with pistachio oil, drizzled with herbed brocciu cream, accompanied by puffed potatoes with caraway powder? Pistachio oil enhanced the overall effect.
