Thewarm welcome from the staff at the Cala di Greco hotel in Bonifacio was much appreciated during our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a smile and a delicious, refreshing lemonade, which added a friendly touch to our check-in.
After a long drive, we particularly appreciated this small gesture.
The room
Our room at the Cala di Greco hotel in Bonifacio was a true haven of peace. Spacious and bathed in light, it offered a Greek-inspired ambience with its white walls and rock-cut shapes. The subtle interplay of The subdued light against the whitewash created a soothing, relaxing atmosphere.
What particularly caught our eye was the remarkable use of natural materials in the bedroom decor. Gorgeous ceramic and wood pieces, such as vases, bedside tables and a lamp, added a touch of elegance and authentic charm to the ensemble.

As for facilities, our room was well equipped for our comfort. We found a kettle and a coffee machine.

The view from the room
In our case, our room offered a private terrace with two armchairs and a designer table, allowing us to take full advantage of the soothing view of the surrounding nature.
Other rooms at Cala di Greco also boasted views of the Mediterranean Sea. It’s already making us want to plan another trip and bring you the photos (we’re duty bound here at Region Lovers…).
The bathroom
The bathroom in our room at the Cala di Greco hotel in Bonifacio was equipped with a shower , and some suites also offer a bathtub for ultimate comfort.
We were delighted to find hygiene products from the Corsican brand Casanera, adding a local and authentic touch to our experience. What’s more, a bathrobe and slippers were provided free of charge, adding an extra touch of comfort.
Although the bathroom wasn’t huge, it was well laid out and functional. The beautiful walk-in shower and elegant basin added a touch of modernity and style.
It may seem like a detail to you, but the toilet was separate from the main bathroom…

The breakfast
Breakfast at the Cala di Greco hotel in Bonifacio is a real treat for the taste buds. The buffet offers a wide choice of morning delights.
We were delighted to discover the presence of local products, such as homemade jams and delicious canistrellis, traditional Corsican cookies. What’s more, the homemade pies and cakes were a real treat for the sweet tooth that we are…
If you’re a sweet team, you’ll find fresh pastries, cut fruit, fruit salads, pancakes and cereals, and if you’re a savory team, you’ll be able to choose from a selection of Corsican cheeses and charcuterie, salmon, cucumber and egg dishes in all shapes and sizes. Of course you are allowed to combine sweet and salty!!!!
The breakfast setting was just as exceptional. The magnificent room featuring the breakfast buffet, with its central tree, was incredible. The breakfast tables were arranged to offer an unobstructed view of the pool and citadel, creating a most pleasant atmosphere in which to start the day. Don’t you think?
What’s more, you can personalize your breakfast to suit your preferences. Attentive staff are ready to cater to specific customer requests to satisfy all tastes and dietary requirements.

- From Bastia: Approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes by car.
- From Corte: Approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes by car.

How to get there
The easiest way to get to Bonifacio is by car, but you can also opt to drive:

- for the plane. The nearest airport is Figari-Sud Corse, about 20 minutes’ drive from the hotel. We recommend renting a car at the airport or taking a cab to the hotel.
