Best gastronomic and bistronomic restaurants in Piana
1. Restaurant Les Roches Bleues (favorite)
In the heart of the calanques de Piana, Restaurant Les Bleues won us over for its exceptional panoramic views. On the terrace of this traditional chalet, we enjoyed an enchanting setting overlooking the vegetation-draped rocks and the sea horizon in the background. Despite its prime location, prices remain reasonable.
On the menu: sea bream ceviche with cumin, lime, orange, green chili and cebette popcorn, or pork filet mignon with hazelnut crumble, chestnut cream and candied vegetables. Which dish will inspire you most for this meal?
The chef doesn’t forget vegetarians, offering a delicious risotto with arborio rice, asparagus, vegetables and strawberry cream. What a delight!
Corsican specialties are also featured. The star appetizer with local colors and flavors: “l’aumonière du berger” with brick pastry, onion confit, sun-dried tomato purée, maquis honey and Corsican cheese.
For our part, we opted for the suggestions of the day: Corsican burger and fillet of sea bream with immortelle. Do you know this plant for infusing in sauces, soups or stews? We were tempted!
To finish on a sweet note:
- strawberry tornado with white chocolate puck,
- chestnut with almond cookie, chestnut mousse and citrus coulis.
The wine list features white, rosé and red wines from the famous Corsican estates Terra di i Nostra (IGP Corse), Montemagni (AOP Patrimonio), Comte Peraldi (AOP Ajaccio) and Maestracci (AOP Calvi).

2. Restaurant La Table de Neptune (favorite)
One of our favorite gourmet restaurants in Piana: La Table de Neptune at theHôtel Capo Rosso.
We spent an exquisite, timeless moment there. Everything was perfect. What a soothing atmosphere, what a fine selection of Corsican specialities and what a sumptuous view of the calanques on the horizon!
On the sommelier’s advice, we browsed the Neptune cellar’s fine wine list, featuring great Corsican vintages and wines from other French wine regions. In fact, he was a great help in matching food and wine when it came time to choose.
The short menu, which waltzes between land and sea, suggests dishes that combine flavors, colors and textures with originality and passion. Family-caught lobster flambéed in whisky, beef with miso eggplant and lemon soy sauce or Mediterranean red tuna and broccoli purée with hazelnut oil.
Enchanting and awakening your palate, isn’t it?
Refinement is also the watchword here. Between the way the dishes were prepared, which brought out the best in the ingredients, and the breathtaking view from behind the large bay window overlooking the sea and mountains, we were spoilt for choice.
This is definitely an address to put on your list if you’re looking for an elegant setting in the peace and quiet of Corsican nature.

In a romantic, discreet setting, the team at the Restaurant de l’Hôtel Les Roches Rouges welcomes you to a place like no other in Corsica.
