Decoration and atmosphere
The Hôtel de la Corniche is a 3-star hotel set on a cliff overlooking the bay of San-Martino-di-Lota in Corsica. Anne-Françoise and Robert Anziani, the historic owners of the site, have turned it into a place that is both authentic, family-friendly, cosy and modern.
They chose to emphasize the use of natural materials, soothing colors and the enhancement of the surrounding landscape.

The rooms are elegant and spacious, with wooden furniture and a few metal accessories. The walls are decorated with paintings and sculptures, combining modernity and sobriety.

The overall ambience is calm and serene, with soft colors and neutral tones inviting us to relax. Our favorite: this unique view of the sea and the village perched on the rock, which will remain engraved in our memory.

The room
Our room was spacious and comfortable. We particularly liked the modern, elegant design and the view over the village. The room was furnished with a large double bed, a desk (a nice place to work, don’t you think?), a flat-screen TV, a minibar to refresh us, a safe, a sitting area and a private bathroom with shower and bathtub.

We even had a kettle with tea and coffee to suit our tastes, handy enough to enjoy a hot drink in peace and quiet at any time of day. A nice touch: we love the traditional Corsican shortbread, or Canistrelli, kindly offered in the room to accompany these drinks!

The view from our room was simply spectacular. We had a breathtaking view of the sea and the mountains surrounding San-Martino-di-Lota. You can also enjoy the panorama from the hotel’s terrace, with the sea and beach just a few meters away, surrounded by the green hills that line the coast.

The sunsets are also magnificent, and if you have the chance to admire one during your stay, it will be quite a magical sight! Our stay in this charming place was very relaxing and we were able to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the place.

The bathroom
In our room, we had a bathroom with sink and shower cubicle. A mirror adorns the room, whose walls are tiled in warm, marbled colors. The bathroom is quite practical, too, with a heated towel rail and storage unit. Some rooms have bathtubs, so please contact the hotel or ask for one on arrival at reception.

The towels were beautifully folded in the shape of flowers on our bed and we even had some bath products from the Anyah Ecolabel range in our bathroom.
