Sant’Ambroggio beach has all the makings of a small corner of paradise appreciated by regulars. Nestled in a pretty bay with turquoise waters, its peaceful ambience and proximity to the marina make it a real attraction. Easy to access, it offers a pleasant swimming spot lined with clear sand and rocks, perfect for a relaxing break at the end of the day.
In this article, you’ll find our photos and tips for making the most of your visit to Sant’Ambroggio beach in the Balagne region.

This guide is completely independent, based on our experiences. We visited the region anonymously, making our own choices and paying our bills in full.
Is Sant’Ambroggio Beach worth it?
Yes, it’s a beautiful beach that deserves a stopover for the serenity it exudes, between its stretch of white sand and crystal-clear waters. We particularly recommend venturing out to the rocks lining the beach for a quiet sunbathing session, as well as a tour of the laurel-lined marina!
For us, it’s one of the most beautiful beaches in Balagne!

Beach type: sandy, supervised…
Sand or no sand?
The beach floor is made of fine white sand.
We loved dipping our toes into it!
We have noticed, however, that in some places there may be a few bulky algae.

Swimming conditions and supervision
Swimming conditions are optimal: gentle slope, no current, transparent water and some nice rocks for snorkeling!
The beach is small and particularly sheltered from the wind, making it pleasant to swim even in the off-season.
Signs indicate that the beach is supervised in season.

Installations
We found toilets right on the beach.

There is also a diving club (Diving Corsica Sports) and an organization that organizes boat trips in the port. Find out more here.
