Capo di Feno beach is a veritable natural paradise in the heart of Corse-du-Sud. We loved this beautiful, peaceful wilderness bordered by high cliffs. This beach is ideal if you’re looking for total peace and quiet for a day.
Here are our useful tips for planning your visit to Capo di Feno beach, near Ajaccio.
This guide is completely independent, based on our experiences. We visited the region anonymously, making our own choices and paying our bills in full.
Is Capo di Feno beach worth it?
Certainly! It’s a magnificent beach well worth a visit.
We loved it for its fine sand, surrounding scenery and crystal-clear water. It comprises 2 distinct parts: Plage de Grand Capo and Plage de Petit Capo (or Plage de Sevani).
We learned that this beach is a well-known surfing spot in the region. It’s also one of the city’s main attractions!

The beach floor is made of fine sand. We loved dipping our toes in.

We couldn’t find any verified information about beach surveillance.
Installations
We didn’t see any showers or toilets on the beach.

Access by car and parking
To reach Capo di Feno beach by car from Ajaccio, take the D111B road. Once there, you can park in the parking lot near the beach.
We also found on-site bike parking!

- Choose a car that is powerful enough (the roads are steep) but compact (some passages are narrow).
- Think of thecomplete insurance (some roads are tortuous and narrow).
- There is a lot of demand, book it early.
Access from (parking lot or city)
From the parking lot, follow the path for a few metres to reach the beach. It’s all flat, no difficulties to be expected.

We didn’t see any signs about dog access to the beach.
Reduced mobility access
There are no facilities for disabled access.
With children
We don’t think this beach is ideal for younger children. Indeed, it is well known for its strong currents. These can be extremely dangerous, especially for children. If you choose to visit this beach with your family, we recommend you exercise caution.
Naturism
It is possible to practice naturism on part of this beach. You’ll find this area at the southern end (left).
Eating out
We noted the presence of a straw hut offering snacks and drinks on the beach.
