We recommend <strong>staying at H\u00f4tel Monsieur Miot<\/strong>. This 3-star establishment is a <strong>concept hotel<\/strong> located on the 1st floor of a <strong>Bastide townhouse<\/strong>. We had the opportunity to spend a night there and really enjoyed our stay.<\/p>\n\n<p>Its main asset is its <strong>location<\/strong>: just a few minutes away on foot, you can stroll along the famous Place Saint-Nicolas or take the lovely Rue Napol\u00e9on.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this article, we take a closer look <strong>at our stay at this concept hotel<\/strong>. It&#8217;s an ideal place if you like to be independent and want to avoid time constraints: the reception is located in a brasserie on the first floor, and the staff are very accommodating. In fact, we&#8217;ve listed it among the <a href=\"https:\/\/corsicalovers.fr\/en\/best-hotel-bastia-where-stay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">best hotels to stay at in Bastia<\/a>. We also chose this hotel because:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>It&#8217;s the ideal place for a pleasant stay in the city center<\/strong>. It is close to many tourist attractions, restaurants and stores. These rooms are named after the different districts of the city (Monserato, U Vechju Portu, Terre Nova&#8230;). They were renovated in 2020 by a Corsican architectural studio called Jamarchi.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Corsica-Lovers\/Bastia\/H&#xF4;tels-Bastia\/n-RD4cqn\/H&#xF4;tel-Monsieur-Miot-Bastia\/i-pHDzdDk\/0\/cd9e75a8\/L\/Ho&#x302;telMonsieurMiot-bastia-nomschbres-L.jpg\" alt=\"View of the room names.  \"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The architect also renovated the center&#8217;s caf\u00e9 and common areas. The result? A warm, contemporary communal space with dark parquet flooring, subdued lighting, beautiful plants, splashes of color and natural materials.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Corsica-Lovers\/Bastia\/H&#xF4;tels-Bastia\/n-RD4cqn\/H&#xF4;tel-Monsieur-Miot-Bastia\/i-dV6qnbw\/0\/0eec2a63\/L\/Ho&#x302;telMonsieurMiot-bastia-espacecommun-L.jpg\" alt=\"View of the common area of the Monsieur Miot hotel.  \"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>This same atmosphere can be found in the hotel&#8217;s reception, which is also a brasserie. We liked the bistro chairs with their comfortable yellow backrests and seats. They were in harmony with the tropical wallpaper and the wooden parts of the walls.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" However, as the shower is not located in an enclosed room, it is not suitable for people with cold feet.
