We visited the area anonymously, making our own choices and paying all our bills in full.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2 weeks in Corsica: general advice<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is it possible to visit Corsica in 14 days?<\/h3>\n\n<p>With 14 days, you have time to explore a large part of Corsica, with a bit of each region: the southern beaches, the mountains, the unique sites of Piana and Bonifacio, the villages of the Balagne, the cities of Bastia and Ajaccio.<\/p>\n\n<p>But of course, you have to do it in road trip mode, because the island is quite big.<br\/>This article is for those who want to see as much as possible during their trip.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to get to Corsica<\/h3>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/corsicalovers.fr\/en\/how-to-get-to-corsica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/corsicalovers.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/How-to-get-to-corsica-map-1024x683.png\" alt=\"Map how to get to Corsica\" class=\"wp-image-1743\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n<p>The itinerary below <strong>starts in Bastia<\/strong>. But it&#8217;s a loop. You can therefore start it at any city of arrival on the island.<\/p>\n\n<p>Corsica is accessible by ferry from several cities in France and Italy.<br\/>But be careful, <a href=\"https:\/\/corsicalovers.fr\/en\/best-ferry-corsica-routes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ferry crossings<\/a> are quite long, and for a trip of only 10 days, the interest of the ferry depends on your point of departure.<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.directferries.co.uk\/corsica.htm?dfpid=1915&amp;affid=21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">See available ferry schedules and book.<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>Otherwise, there are 4 airports where you can arrive in Corsica: Bastia, Calvi, Ajaccio, Figari. There is a lot to see!<br\/>We really think that renting\/renting a car is the best way to discover the island. Either enjoy the beach with its beautiful views of the Cap Corse mountains, or hike to the <a href=\"https:\/\/corsicalovers.fr\/en\/saleccia-beach-agriates-desert-corsica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">beach at Saleccia <\/a>(1h walk in one direction). The place is magical and the views from the boat are superb.<br\/>The <a href=\"https:\/\/corsicalovers.fr\/en\/visit-desert-agriates-corsica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Agriates desert<\/a> is one of <a href=\"https:\/\/corsicalovers.fr\/en\/best-places-in-corsica-tourism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">our favorite places in Corsica<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Travel\/Corsica\/10e-Saleccia-Beach\/i-BSRLQkc\/1\/ca7aafac\/L\/plage_saleccia_desert_agriates_Corse-45-L.jpg\" alt=\"Beach of Saleccia\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Beach of Saleccia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>And on your return, explore the town of Saint-Florent with its citadel, its ice merchants and its marina.
