It is rich in restaurants and cafes, and has easy access to heavenly beaches. But none of these beautiful beaches are within walking distance of the town center or surrounding hotels.<br\/>The only one is called Cala Verde and is not very inspiring.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Travel\/Corsica\/14d-Porto-Vecchio\/i-N67H8bC\/6\/f0d2d9de\/L\/Porto_Vecchio_Corse-8-L.jpg\" alt=\"View on Porto-Vecchio with the mountains behind\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Porto-Vecchio<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The most beautiful beaches of Bonifacio<\/h3>\n\n<p>Our 3 favorites within a 30min drive are:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rondinara (#4): easy access and varied<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Palombaggia (#1): popular but not to be missed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fautea (#8): wild, with small steps and splendid views<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>They are a <a href=\"https:\/\/corsicalovers.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/best-things-to-do-in-Corsica-south.jpeg\" type=\"attachment\" id=\"4931\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">must in southern Corsica<\/a> and among <a href=\"https:\/\/corsicalovers.fr\/en\/best-beaches-in-corsica-france\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"50\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the most beautiful beaches in the whole of Corsica<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Attention<\/strong><br\/>At any period, some beaches of Corsica can be covered with algae.<br\/>This can happen at any beach but not at the same time. You have to come very early to experience it (which is also very good for the colors of the rocks).<br\/>There is a large free parking lot that is dirt and quite bumpy &#8211; short walk from the lot<br\/>But the parking lot is full in summer. Beach of Tamaricciu \/ Folaca (20min)<\/h2>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Travel\/Corsica\/15b-Tamaricciu\/i-GxjJd4h\/1\/d664ff21\/L\/plage_Tamaricciu_Corse-74-L.jpg\" alt=\"Beach of Tamaricciu\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Beach of Tamaricciu<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why we love it<\/h3>\n\n<p>Like Palombaggia, the beach of Tamaricciu is a long stretch of white sand, turquoise water and pine trees.<br\/>When you park along the road, you have a beautiful view on the bay from the top.<br\/>Once at sea level, if you walk to the left (facing the water), you will reach the area that makes it famous: big grey rocks and a single pine tree.
