In Google maps, the parking lot is identified as &#8220;parking de Losari&#8221;.<br\/>The second, larger one is in the middle of the beach. In Google maps, the parking lot is identified as &#8220;parking Losari beach&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p>As in any isolated tourist place, do not leave anything visible in the car. It is not as fine as on the beach of Bodri (for example) but it is not unpleasant.<\/p>\n\n<p>Note that at any period, some beaches in Corsica can be covered with algae (Posidonia meadows). This can happen at any beach but not at the same time. It&#8217;s random. This is essential for the ecosystem, but if it happens, know that the beach looks much less heavenly.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conditions for swimming and with children &#8211; is it dangerous?<\/h3>\n\n<p>Be careful, this beach is not dangerous but it is not suitable for everyone.<br\/>The slope to enter the water is quite steep. It is therefore not ideal with young children.<br\/>It is also to be avoided in case of strong wind, because it is not at all sheltered. There are then quite a few waves.<\/p>\n\n<p>And the beach is not supervised.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nautical activities<\/h3>\n\n<p>There is a nautical base in the middle of the beach. It covers the rocky coastline, meadows, scrubland and holm oak woods.<br\/>Next to the south parking lot, there is a building called A Casa di Losari&#8221;.<br\/>If it is open, you can learn more about the ecosystem of the place.<\/p>\n\n<p>The area has been home to a golf course and a winery. It was built around 1580, destroyed during a raid in 1584 and then rebuilt.<br\/>You cross the maquis to enjoy wonderful panoramas towards the <a href=\"https:\/\/corsicalovers.fr\/en\/visit-desert-agriates-corsica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Agriates desert<\/a> on one side and \u00cele-Rousse on the other.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Going up the river, the Reginu trail<br\/>To discover other ecosystems, riparian vegetation and a magnificent tamarisk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Restaurant at the beach of Lozari<\/h2>\n\n<p>On the beach of Lozari, you can find 2 restaurants:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Vava&#8217;u Chez Tat\u00e9<\/strong><br\/>In the middle of the beach, open all day. Less sea view (but more on the mountains) and a very good tasty cuisine: salads, pasta, meat, fish&#8230; Be careful, not sure they take the CB.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Restaurant le Pavillon<\/strong><br\/>South-west of the beach, with a terrace with sea view &#8211; you can find salads, meat and fish, ice creams, drinks &#8211; open for lunch.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div href=\"https:\/\/corsicalovers.fr\/en\/best-beaches-in-corsica-france\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Corsica<\/a>.<br\/>It requires a 25min drive from L&#8217;\u00cele-Rousse, it&#8217;s the farthest but it&#8217;s worth it!<\/p>\n\n<p>Ostriconi is less often mentioned in the lists of the best places in Corsica, because it is not close to a big city.
