Is Plage de Porticcio worth it?<\/h2>\n\n

Nestling on the opposite shore to Ajaccio, this extensive beach is well worth a visit. In fact, it features in our article on the seaside resort’s must-do activities<\/a>. To get there, all you have to do is take the maritime shuttle that links Porticcio to the Corsican imperial city.<\/p>\n\n

We were seduced by this beach, which offers magnificent views of the sea. Between sunbathing, swimming and water sports, you’ll never be bored!<\/p>\n\n

Sand or no sand?<\/h3>\n\n

The beach floor is made up of fine golden sand, but there are a few small pebbles and dry seaweed.<\/p>\n\n

All you have to do is lay out a towel, and off you go for a siesta under the Corsican sun!<\/p>\n\n

Swimming conditions and supervision<\/h3>\n\n

Swimming conditions are very good. The descent into the water is gradual, and the waters are turquoise.<\/p>\n\n

Signs indicate that the beach is supervised in season.<\/p>\n\n
