We visited the region anonymously, making our own choices and paying our bills in full.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is a visit to the Voile-de-la-Mari\u00e9e waterfall worthwhile?<\/h2>\n\n<p>Yes, the Voile-de-la-Mari\u00e9e waterfall is well worth a visit, especially in spring.<br\/>This waterfall is absolutely magnificent, with all the rocks and water bouncing off it. It is 70m high and surrounded by greenery. We could spend hours admiring all the little steps and the movement of the water. Splendid!<\/p>\n\n<p>This is one of <a href=\"https:\/\/corsicalovers.fr\/en\/best-waterfalls-corsica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Corsica&#8217;s most beautiful waterfalls<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Be careful, though: you need a lot of water to make it look good. The best time to visit is in spring when the snow is melting. You may be disappointed in summer and on your own, but it&#8217;s still a splendid place!<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you can see<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The river under the bridge<\/h3>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Travel\/Corsica\/1b-Voile-de-la-mariee\/i-TDzM8VD\/5\/FRfXHzLBhZRSrWHRcDFJt2GZ5S8VTcs3QfvSdrpN7\/L\/Voile_de_la_mariee_Cascade_Corse-29-L.jpg\" alt=\"River below the waterfall\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>When you reach the bridge, there are a few parking spaces on either side.<br\/>Before starting your ascent to the waterfall, take time to admire the little river that flows under the bridge. With moss and trees intertwined, it&#8217;s an enchanting landscape. He tried to catch her, but she fled, losing her veil. The ogre caught his feet in the veil. He fell and was swept away by the waters&#8230;<br\/>Later, the inhabitants of the hamlet of Tavera Vechja discovered a statue-menhir further down the stream.
